Guidelines for submitting your story:

Your transplant must have taken place more than four months ago.

We will not use stories written for other publications unless they are accompanied by written permission from the authors.

Stories should be sent by e-mail as a Microsoft Word attachment (any version) or can be copied into the body of an e-mail provided breaks are noted for each paragraph. E-mail to: stories@transplantsuccess.org

Grammar, punctuation, and spelling corrections will be made by our Editorial Board if needed.

Suggestions:

Keeping a diary of your pre-transplant experiences can be a useful tool when attempting to write your story. If no notes were taken you can get details you may have missed from family, friends, and others who may have been part of your support group as a candidate.

If you want to share your story but don't feel like you are able to write it yourself you may enlist the help of others. We will give proper credit to the writer when adding your story.

Read the stories that are currently on our website. This may give you an idea of how your story should flow as you write about your pre and post transplant experiences.

Before attempting to write your story it can be helpful to first prepare an outline.
